Should the UN take over the fought over arctic claimed to have a quarter of the world's oil reserves?

i know im being too optimistic but anyway the money gained can be given to the other UN branches like the WHO especially ,supporting to eliminate poverty.and raise the standard of living reaching even to the farthest corners of the world..i'm sure a QUARTER of the worlds oil reserves would be sufficient for that much since the other 3 quarters have already had such an impact.

and one more point.

the tomato fight in spain that happened a couple of days ago, think this way, if only 1 tomato from all the tomatoes used was to be given to a dying malnutritioned child in africa..asia.......Should the UN take over the fought over arctic claimed to have a quarter of the world's oil reserves?
I think the UN should take control of the Arctic to prevent any possible conflict among claimant-countries. The oil taken from the Arctic should be stored somewhere by the UN. This oil stock would help ease wild fluctuations in oil prices, if and when the supply of fossil fuels indeed becomes scarce in the near future. This way, the UN would help prevent future conflicts over oil resources.

As to the tomato fight in Spain, I believe that the tomatoes they use are those that are no longer fit for human consumption. So that tradition of theirs is not really a waste of food.
