Why does Iran have the ';right'; to nuclear power, when it sits atop massive oil reserves?

But the U.S.A. does NOT have that same right, and we are expected to move towards wind and solar for our HUGE energy needs? Why does Iran have the ';right'; to nuclear power, when it sits atop massive oil reserves?
Because they are an Islamic terrorist state and well 0bama is a Muslim terrorist supporterWhy does Iran have the ';right'; to nuclear power, when it sits atop massive oil reserves?
What? You don't believe we have the 'right' to nuclear power? Dude..we have nuclear power plants operating right now in the US. Where do you get this stuff?

Come now...you captialized 'NOT' saying we don't have the right. Politics is something else. That said...I'm one of those left wing enviros you are talking about and I support building new nuclear plants in the US. I see it as a problem, but not as big of a problem as carbon. I see nuclear as a tool that we should use as we continue to develop and research energy technology that is clean...without the storage problems of nuclear and without the carbon of coal.
The technology they are developing now can be used to make nuclear weapons as well as drive steam turbines for power.

The ';right'; to develop nuclear power was forfeited when they chose to sponsor terrorism (Hamas), and export IED's, explosives, etc. The nutjob political figurehead and Islamic-fascist religious leaders cannot be trusted with weapons of mass destruction.

Our political leaders are IDIOTS for not streamlining the nuclear plant building here in the U.S.
Oil has nothing to do with it. There are certain treaties and agreements that nations have entered and these restrict what they can do with nuclear power. Yes, they do have the right to have nuclear power, they may not have the right to possess nuclear weapons, depending on what agreements they have signed on to.
Iran has the right because the Non-proliferation treaty they signed, that the U.S. is always whining about, SAYS they have the right.

Personally, I've LIVED near nuclear plants, and I have no problem with the U.S. building them.

The tech has made tremendous strides since the days of 3-mile Island and Chernobyl.

By the way - just WHO is it that says the U.S. doesn't have the right?

The U.S. has nuclear power already. Nobody is disputing that right.
If the rest of the world is fighting for nuclear power, why isn't the USA building new nuclear plants? Nuclear power is safe and efficient.

as long as their nuclear facility is under absolute american control i don't mind them having one.
Because, Iran doesn't have a large number of tree hugging hippies.
Wow...did somebody drop you on your noggin when you were a baby?
