One of the first things Bush Senior did at the start of Dessert Storm was to release the Oil Reserve. This was to prevent prices from spiking from the effects of the war. Bush junior refused to do so until the prices were so high that it did little good. And he was adding to the demand with a determination to maximize the reserve while prices were on the rise, helping them to rise to the highest in history.Why do liberals like going through are oil reserves when that does nothing?
